WaterRower Performance Wooden Rowing Machine

Bring the authentic sensation of rowing on open water into your home with the WaterRower Performance Rowing Machine. Combining handcrafted solid wood construction with advanced performance tracking, this premium indoor rower delivers a smooth, responsive workout with every stroke. Available in six distinctive finishes, it blends traditional craftsmanship with modern training technology. Enhanced comfort features, precise performance measurements and convenient upright storage make it an excellent choice for dedicated home athletes and demanding training environments.

Authentic Water Resistance Technology

The WaterRower Performance uses a specially designed water flywheel to recreate the natural rhythm and resistance of rowing on water. Resistance responds directly to your effort, allowing you to control workout intensity through the strength and speed of each stroke. The flowing movement and distinctive sound of the water create an immersive training experience, whether you prefer steady endurance sessions or more intensive interval workouts.

Handcrafted Solid Wood Construction

Each WaterRower Performance frame is handcrafted from sustainably sourced hardwood, combining structural strength with an elegant natural appearance. The wooden construction helps absorb vibration and reduce operational noise, contributing to a quieter workout environment. Individual grain patterns give every machine a unique finish, while the available Oak, Cherry, Walnut, Shadow, Vintage and Club options make it easier to find a style that complements your space.

Advanced PowerPulley Performance Monitoring

Take a closer look at your rowing technique and performance with the integrated PowerPulley measurement system. Replacing the traditional S4 monitor, this advanced setup uses a calibrated strain gauge and optical sensor to measure force and power directly at the pulley. Real-time performance feedback helps you understand your effort, evaluate your progress and make more informed adjustments to your training routine.

Connected Training with WATERROWER Connect

Pair the machine with the WATERROWER Connect app on compatible iOS and Android devices to review and manage your workouts. Customise the information displayed during training, revisit previous sessions and track your progress over time. The app also supports synchronisation with Apple Health and Strava, helping you bring your rowing activity together with your wider fitness data. The app is available without a subscription.

Enhanced Comfort for Longer Sessions

The Performance model includes several design refinements to support a comfortable and efficient rowing position. Extended XL rails accommodate a longer stroke, while the wider, easy-grip handle helps reduce hand fatigue during extended sessions. An upgraded, commercial-style footboard provides secure foot placement, helping you maintain control and consistency when increasing workout intensity.

Space-Saving Storage and Easy Movement

Make the most of your available floor space with the WaterRower Performance’s upright storage design. When your workout is complete, the machine can be positioned vertically to occupy approximately the footprint of a dining chair. Integrated dolly wheels make repositioning easier, while the balanced frame design supports controlled movement between its training and storage positions. The water remains contained within the tank during proper upright storage.
